Noosa Activities and Attractions: Our Local Tips
Planning a trip to Noosa? You’re in for a treat. This iconic Queensland destination is renowned for pristine beaches, lush national parks, boutique shopping and vibrant dining scene. Whether you’re chasing some adventure, relaxation or a little bit of both, there’s no shortage of incredible Noosa activities and attractions to explore.
Tee Off at Noosa Hills Golf Course
Noosa Hills Golf Course offers a relaxed and welcoming place to play a round. Set across 74 acres of lush, tranquil bushland in Noosaville, this lovely Par 3 course offers a unique golfing experience that blends sport and scenery. It features 36 holes across two distinct layouts, split across the North and South courses, all designed to be enjoyable for golfers of all abilities.
The North Course, our original 18 holes, offers a classic layout with water carries, bunkers, and unique challenges like the double green on holes one and three. The newer South Course is divided into two loops of nine. The front nine is open and beginner-friendly, while the back nine introduces trickier shots and water features. For something different, try Big Hole Golf, the only one of its kind on the Sunshine Coast.
Explore Noosa’s Natural Scenery
Beyond the fairways at Noosa Hills, the stunning natural landscapes of the region are just waiting to be explored. Just a short drive from the course, Noosa National Park offers an array of spectacular coastal walks with ocean vistas, hidden beaches and the chance to spot dolphins, turtles and even koalas resting in the eucalyptus treetops.
For a more leisurely pace, head over to the Noosa River for a gentle kayak, stand-up paddleboarding session, or sunset cruise. If you prefer to keep your feet on the ground, Noosa Main Beach provides calm waters and soft golden sand, perfect for swimming or soaking up the incredible sunshine. With so many natural attractions close by, you can easily mix a round of golf with a day of exploring the great outdoors.
